Field of the Rawhides was the site of a competitive game between the Squirrel Hill Pierogis and Olympia Ogres.

Olympia rode a decent outing from starter David Brandon to victory over the Squirrel Hill Pierogis. The final score was 5-3. The winning pitcher was Brandon, now 4-4. He tossed 5 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 6.

Olympia used a well-timed hit by Ray Harden to capture the win. The center fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Ogres ahead, 3-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"David made his pitches," said Olympia manager Orynn Veillon.

The Ogres now have a record of 11-25.
