The Squirrel Hill Pierogis topped the Pine Island Dolphins, 5-3, in USSL Double A action at Goodyear Hanger Dome. The game was highlighted by the performance of Squirrel Hill pitcher Eduardo Rocha. Eugene Ingram locked down his 5th save. The win puts Squirrel Hill at 9-16.

Squirrel Hill relied on the hitting of Dylan Bettinson to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the first inning to put the Pierogis on top, 1-0. For the game, Bettinson had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

Rocha told a Squirrel Hill Daily News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
