Extra-Inning Win by Hops Over Ogres
The Olympia Ogres got a superb performance from pitcher Michael Poe. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Yakima. The Hops won the game, 4-3. Poe threw 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball. Dave O'Reilly notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. His record now sits at 2-0. The Hops, now 11-5, have been playing some good baseball.

Yakima won the game in the bottom of the 16th inning. With two outs and Josh Barnette on the mound for Olympia, third baseman Kang Meng hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Hops fans to their feet.

"Tough ballgame, tough loss," said Olympia manager Orynn Veillon.
