Qi-chang Li did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Pine Island Dolphins from losing, 5-4, to the St. Petersburg Thunder at Baby Thunder Dome. Li was 3-5 with 2 home runs. Ed Wheeler got the save, the 5th for him this season. The win has St. Petersburg at 6-2.

Early in the game, right fielder Jay Fuller had a 3-run home run for St. Petersburg. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Thunder on top, 3-0.

"We've got a great group of guys," Fuller said, "and we're having fun right now."
