The Lancaster Farmers got a sterling performance from pitcher George Foster, but the Richland Rails still prevailed, 6-4. Foster threw 5.0 innings of 2-hit ball. The save went to Felipe Hull, number 20 for him. The Rails improve their record to 55-43 with the win over Lancaster.
Richland took a 6-3 lead on Matt Russell's 20th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Lancaster pitcher Daniel Snyder in the bottom of the seventh.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Russell said.
