Ríos Stars for Miners in 6-2 Win

The Marquette Miners downed the Lancaster Farmers, 6-2. The hitting star was designated hitter Len Ríos. Ríos was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Miners. Quincy Rose got the win, improving to 6-2. He worked 5.1 innings, giving up 2 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 0. The misery continues for the Farmers, which has now dropped 10 in a row.
Ríos put Marquette up, 4-0, when he hit a 3-run home run off George Foster in the bottom of the fourth. His 5th home run of the season helped the Miners capture the win.
"This is not a one-man show," said Ríos. "A lot of the guys stepped up."
