The Westwood Sixshooters had to overcome a good performance from Arizona pitcher Will O'Halloran to claim a 3-2 win at Javelina Ballpark. O'Halloran went 6.2 innings and allowed 3 runs. Sean Hamilton was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 22 of 24 save opportunities. The Sixshooters raised their record to 42-39.

Westwood used the timely hitting of Ed Edwards to capture the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Sixshooters on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"Every loss hurts," said Arizona manager León Domínguez. "But this was a tough one."
