Fat Cats Rally For 11-7 Win
Casper center fielder Tony Maldonado was sensational. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Ottawa beat the Ghosts, 11-7. Ottawa reliever Dominique Leclère picked up the win, upping his record to 5-3. Gerjan Wemerman was saddled with the loss. Today's win puts Ottawa at 33-44, while Casper falls to 34-43.

José Guillén went 1 for 3 with a triple and a walk. He scored 2 times for Ottawa. The 23-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring walk off Gerjan Wemerman. It was his 16th walk of the season.

"We'll put that win in the can," said Guillén, "and go after the next one."
