Quincy Rose was locked and loaded, helping the Marquette Miners beat the Ottawa Fat Cats, 2-0. Bill Tuttle notched his 12th save in 15 chances. The win puts the Miners at 29-43, while the Fat Cats drop to 30-42.

In the bottom of the fourth, Jim Moore delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 1st, the Marquette center fielder hit a 2-run home run, putting the Miners in front, 2-0.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Moore told the Marquette Gazette. "Whatever it takes."
