Whales Martin Sizzles with Cycle
It was a quite a day for Rob Martin at Heron Field.

He hit for the cycle, belting out every kind of hit there is -- a single, double, triple and home run. The Virginia Beach second baseman accomplished the rare feat during his team's 8-4 victory over the Lake Murray MotorBoaters.

"I never even thought about hitting for the cycle and what do you know, I did it," he told BNN reporters at the postgame press conference. "The cycle really doesn't matter to me, it's the win that's important."

Martin went 4-for-5 in the game with 4 RBI and 2 runs scored.

Rob Martin hit a solo-shot off Bill Hill in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run triple in the 7th and struck out in the 9th.
