The Richland Rails topped the Marquette Miners, 6-1, in M3L Double A action at Marquette Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Richland pitcher and Denver, Colorado, native Felipe Hull. Hull went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 3, and struck out 6. His record improves to 2-5. Richland is now 30-27, Marquette 21-36.
Richland relied on the bat of Juan Pech to get the win. The third baseman ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the first inning to put the Rails ahead, 2-0. For the game, Pech had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.
