The Lancaster Farmers got a stellar performance from pitcher Chad McDonald, who handcuffed the Westwood offense en route to a win, 7-2, at Farmers Field. Lancaster reliever Chad McDonald got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Nick Young was tagged with the loss. The triumph puts Lancaster at 29-27 for the season.

The Farmers got an important contribution from third baseman Cal Weber, who in the bottom of the sixth hit a cutter into left for a 2-run double. It was his 9th double of the season and put the Farmers ahead, 5-2.

"We've got great fans," said McDonald. "I hope they got what they came for."
