The Barton Springs Blues picked up a win at Blues Field, taking down the Virginia Beach Whales, 5-2. Starting pitcher Giustino Cotichini was a big reason why. The Blues, at 25-27, sit in 8th place in the Menard's AA.

The Blues got a big at-bat from right fielder Weston Hensball. For the game, Hensball went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 5th double of the season gave Barton Springs a 1-0 lead.

Hensball told a Barton Springs Gazette reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
