MotorBoaters Stick Rails with 5-3 Loss
|
Spirited fans greeted the Richland Rails for their clash with the Lake Murray MotorBoaters.
A 3-RBI performance from second baseman Jeremy Gutiérrez led the Lake Murray MotorBoaters to a win over the Richland Rails, 5-3. Rickey Allen, now 2-1, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.1 innings.
Gutiérrez contributed in the top of the third. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Lake Murray get the win.
"This was a good win," said Gutiérrez.
At 18-32, the MotorBoaters are currently 11th in the Menard's AA.
