|
Nuevo Mexico beat Marquette on the strength of starter Albert Wallace's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 6-0. Ernest Goodman picked up the save, his 1st. Marquette's current losing streak is now 4 games.
Wallace allowed no runs over 6.1 innings. He also racked up 9 strikeouts.
"Enjoyed this one," Wallace told the Nuevo Mexico Observer. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
