Blues Snatch Late Win
|
Barton Springs starter Ed Taylor had a strong outing against the Richland Rails at Rails Ballpark. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 3-1 win. With the win, Barton Springs lifts its record to 8-7.
Barton Springs used the clutch hitting of Pancho Conaso to capture the win. The center fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Blues ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"Every loss hurts," said Richland manager Eduardo Hernández. "But this was a tough one."
