Stingers Earn 6-5 Win Versus Ponies
Toledo catcher Ernesto Reyes helped his team beat the Kingston Ponies, 6-5. Reyes, who is tied for 4th in the 3L with a .373 on-base percentage, went 3 for 4 for the Stingers. Toledo reliever Jong-beom Park was the winner. His record is now 7-2. Dick Hill took the loss. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Toledo.

John López was the walk-off hero for Toledo. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Stingers designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Toledo manager David Bunting.
