Leviathan Stick Rainbow Mermaids with 5-2 Loss
Nova Scotia picked up a win at Atlantica, toppling the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 5-2. Pitcher Roberto Chaumond was one of the reasons the Leviathan triumphed. Getting the save was Martín Cedeño, his 3rd. The Leviathan' win now puts them at 44-55.

Nova Scotia used the clutch hitting of Juan Barrón to capture the win. The third baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Leviathan the lead, 3-2. For the game, Barrón had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Barrón told the Nova Scotia Times.
