Dirty Reds Best Leviathan, 3-2
|
Starting pitcher Ton van Aerden was a major factor in the 3-2 Dayton Dirty Reds triumph over the Nova Scotia Leviathan. Kevin Horton was credited with the save, his 2nd in 2 tries. The Dirty Reds now have a record of 31-53.
In the bottom of the second inning, Casey Vincent went deep for the Dirty Reds. With Dayton trailing 2-0, he drilled a 2-run home run.
"It's a mindset," said van Aerden. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
