Lakers Fall Short, 4-3, at Thunder Bay
|
Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC starter Joe Gunn was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Echo Park Lakers, 4-3. Thunder Bay's record now stands at 36-46, placing them 9th in the Third League.
In the bottom of the fifth, Thunder Bay second baseman Tyler Harris had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 3rd and two out, Harris stroked a run-scoring single to right. It made the score 3-2, Thunder Bay. For the game, he was 2-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Gunn.
