The Echo Park Lakers topped the Kingston Ponies, 4-0, in Menard's Third League action at LA Forum. The game was highlighted by the performance of Echo Park pitcher Alan Sanderson. John Ellis, credited with the save, is now 2 for 3 in save opportunities. The triumph puts Echo Park at 42-28 for the season.

Sanderson, who dominated for Echo Park, earned the victory to move to 7-5. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 9. Kingston batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"When I'm in the lineup, I always feel like we're going to win the game," said Sanderson.
