Nuevo Mexico rode a decent outing from starter Cheng-qian Yue to victory over the Marquette Miners. The final score was 7-3. Yue got the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 7 hits and walked 1 over 7.1 innings. Yue allowed 1 run. Marquette, at 2-11, is off to a poor start in 2056.

"Cheng-qian is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Nuevo Mexico manager John Sirica.
