Blitzkrieg Suffer 7-2 Setback
The Ft. Myers Marlins bested the Port Huron Blitzkrieg by a score of 7-2, with center fielder Erik Willard getting the main credit. On the day, Willard went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Marlins. Ft. Myers starter Rob Anderson was credited with the win after throwing 110 pitches over 7 innings. His record now stands at 9-7. Ft. Myers, now 45-50, holds down 5th place in the Silver AAA.

With Ft. Myers leading 3-2 in the top of the ninth, Willard hit a curveball from Kensaku Sanu for a grand slam home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Marlins ahead, 7-2.
