Late Rally Gets 3-2 Win for Redlegs
|
Sacramento picked up a win at Sacramento Sanitation Station, bumping off the Monongahela Monsters, 3-2. Pitcher Gunnar Quinn was a major reason the Redlegs emerged victorious. Ari Schaller came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-8. The Redlegs now have a record of 51-41 with the win over Monongahela.
In the bottom of the 13th, Chris Perry had a chance to play the hero. And he did, socking a run-scoring double off Monongahela pitcher Martin Lumley.
"Nice to tuck this win away," said Quinn.
