With first baseman Domingo Segura leading the charge, the Tortolita Drummers defeated the Sunset District Fog, 8-3, at Fog Park. Segura, who is tied for 10th in the SAAA with a .811 OPS, was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. Cliff Scarlett picked up the win, improving his season record to 11-5. He struck out 3 in 6.2 innings. Gypsyamber D'Souza converted his 1st save in 1 tries.

The Drummers got an important contribution from right fielder Hanskarl Hümmel, who in the top of the fifth hit a full count fastball into right-center for a 2-run double. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Drummers ahead, 3-0.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Hümmel said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

The Fog, at 40-51, have lost 5 straight games.
