Redlegs Fell Humpbacks, 3-2

The Sacramento Redlegs eked out a 3-2 win versus the Alaskan Humpbacks at Sea World. Nobody did more than pitcher Ken Milligan. He was terrific. Milligan, now 12-5, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. Sacramento is in second place in the Silver AAA with a record of 48-37.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Blair Conard? The Sacramento shortstop had a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Redlegs on top, 3-1. For the game, Conard had 1 double and 1 single in 2 at-bats.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Sacramento manager Luis Ríos. "Our pregame was pretty good."
