Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Red Pandas
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas picked up a win at The Bamboo Forest, taking down the Tortolita Drummers, 5-1. Starting pitcher Ronald McDonald was a big reason why. The winner was Benoît Lambert in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Gypsyamber D'Souza took the loss. The Red Pandas' win now puts them at 32-43.

The Red Pandas got a big at-bat from third baseman Óscar Cardozo. For the game, Cardozo was 1 for 3 with a double. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 6th double of the season gave Sioux Falls a 1-0 lead.

"I like to lead by example," said Cardozo. "I'm glad I could contribute to a good win."
