MacIlleriach Rips 2 Home Runs in 6-4 Redlegs Triumph
The 6-4 Sacramento win over Sunset District was due largely to Rick MacIlleriach. The Redlegs first baseman slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Sacramento pitcher Ken Milligan got the win. He's now 9-5. Javier Vargas was tagged with the loss. Ari Schaller earned the save for Sacramento, his 17th.

In the top of the eighth, Sacramento shortstop Blair Conard put his team on top. With one out and the bases loaded, he hit his 19th double of the year. Sunset District pitcher Javier Vargas served it up. Just like that, the Redlegs were ahead, 4-3.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Conard.

Sacramento now has a record of 40-31 with the win.
