Rainbeaus Beat Red Pandas, 4-0
|
Right-hander Cenek Stensel mesmerized the Sioux Falls Red Pandas while leading the Kansas Rainbeaus to a 4-0 victory. Stensel, the winner, moves to 9-0. He threw 5.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 10 and giving up 3 walks. Kansas is now 30-35, Sioux Falls 29-36.
Making an impact for the home team was Ken Trowsdale. In the bottom of the second, the 25-year old right fielder had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 2-0, Rainbeaus.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Sioux Falls skipper Fred Leos, "and it cost us."
