Sunset District beat Port Huron on the strength of starter Sae-wan Chong's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 3-2. The save went to Javier Vargas, number 6 for him. Sunset District is 7th in the Silver AAA with a record of 29-35.
Luca Norona, the 28-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Norona contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Sunset District up, 2-1.
"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Norona said.
