Whaley Powers Red Pandas Offense
Bradley Whaley added some punch to the Sioux Falls offense, helping them outmuscle the Sunset District Fog, 16-7. In the game, Whaley, who is tied for 2nd in the SAAA in RBI with 42, went 4 for 6 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 4 and driving in 4. Pat Harmon was credited with the save for Sioux Falls, his 2nd of the season. The 8th-place Red Pandas lifted their record to 28-35.

Jerome Powers had a big hit for Sioux Falls in the top of the eighth inning. With Sioux Falls leading 10-7, Powers hit a bases-clearing double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Red Pandas up, 13-7.

Red Pandas manager Fred Leos wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
