Monsters Curb Redlegs, 2-0

Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Monongahela Monsters and Sacramento Redlegs.
The Monongahela Monsters topped the Sacramento Redlegs, 2-0, in USSL Triple A action at Timber Hawks Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Monongahela pitcher Richard Miller. In 6.1 innings, Miller surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 13 and walking 0. He allowed no runs.
Anastasio Estrada, not known for his power, had a big at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the sixth. That's when he connected on a changeup from Ken Milligan for a solo home run. His 4th home run of the season put Monongahela in front, 1-0.
"You win some, you lose some. I don't get too caught up in all that," said Miller.
With this game in the books, Monongahela is 26-32, Sacramento 33-25.
