Red Pandas Deal Blitzkrieg 3-1 Setback
In a low-scoring game between Sioux Falls and Port Huron, pitcher Urmas Koskela was excellent. The Sioux Falls right-hander helped his team knock off the Blitzkrieg, 3-1. Koskela, now 2-2, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 6, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. The 9th-place Red Pandas now have a win-loss record of 25-32.

The Red Pandas got a big at-bat from center fielder Bradley Whaley. For the game, Whaley was 1-5 with a home run. In the top of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Sioux Falls a 2-1 lead.

"Urmas -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Red Pandas manager Fred Leos. "He was the key to us winning."
