The exploits of right fielder David Ellison helped the Ft. Myers Marlins defeat the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 6-2. Ellison went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. Ft. Myers is 5th in the Silver AAA with a record of 21-21.

Ft. Myers took a 2-0 lead on Ellison's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Todd Montgomery in the top of the sixth, propelled Ft. Myers to the win.
