The Port Huron Blitzkrieg topped the Norfolk Pajaritos, 5-2, in USSL Triple A action at Norfolk Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Port Huron pitcher Gustavo Rivera. Rivera went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 2-1. Gil Childers earned the save for Port Huron, his 11th of the year.

Port Huron used a clutch hit from Kevin Morris to get the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Blitzkrieg ahead, 5-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"I thought we played a nice game," Rivera told the Port Huron Gazette. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
