Redlegs Come Up Short at Sioux Falls, 7-6
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas defeated the Sacramento Redlegs, 7-6, at The Bamboo Forest. Sioux Falls designated hitter Bernardo Beltrán had a superb performance. He went 2-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Sioux Falls reliever Michael MacGregor was credited with the win, to go to 2-1. Gunnar Quinn took the loss for Sacramento. Phil Berry earned the save for Sioux Falls, his 2nd of the year.

Beltrán had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a 0-2 fastball from Gunnar Quinn, he banged a 2-run double to right, giving the Red Pandas a 7-6 lead. It was the 2nd double of the year for Beltrán.

"We'll put that win in the can," said Beltrán, "and go after the next one."

The Red Pandas, at 18-19, sit in 5th place in the Silver AAA.
