The Sacramento Redlegs went home winners at Sacramento Sanitation Station, thanks in large part to starter Gunnar Quinn. Quinn stifled the Tortolita Drummers, enabling Sacramento to grab the 5-0 win. Quinn got the win, improving to 4-1. He allowed 2 hits and walked 4 over 7 innings. Quinn allowed no runs. The win puts the Redlegs at 20-12, while the Drummers drop to 20-12.

In the bottom of the fifth, with Sacramento leading 1-0, Sandross Bañaga hit a fastball from Iban Wilson for a run-scoring single, giving the Redlegs the lead, 2-0.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Quinn. "Successful pitchers do it."
