Fans watched the Tortolita Drummers and the Port Huron Blitzkrieg fight to the finish.

The Tortolita Drummers picked up a win at Drummers Ballpark, taking down the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 4-3. Starting pitcher Cliff Scarlett was a big reason why. Richello Dosono sewed up the save, his 8th.

The Drummers got a big at-bat from left fielder Rob Jackson. For the game, Jackson was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Tortolita a 3-1 lead.

"It's a mindset," said Scarlett. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."

The win elevated the Drummers to 19-11.
