The Sunset District Fog beat the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 7-4. Sunset District pitcher and Gwangju, South Korea, native Sae-wan Chong led the way. Chong got the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 3 hits and walked 3 over 6 innings. Chong allowed 3 runs. Sunset District, now 15-15, holds down 5th place in the Silver AAA.
With runs few and far between, the Fog had to seize their opportunities when they came. One of the most important chances for Sunset District came in the bottom of the third inning, when center fielder Donovan Edwards delivered a 2-run single. The single was hit off Ronald McDonald and made the score 2-0, Fog. Edwards was 2-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
