The Sioux Falls Red Pandas and Sunset District Fog provided some drama for the home crowd.
The Sunset District Fog got a good effort from starter Peter Jackson in defeating the Sioux Falls Red Pandas at Fog Park. The final score was 1-0. Javier Vargas closed the door for Sunset District, picking up his 2nd save of the year.
In his 93-pitch effort, Jackson allowed no runs on 4 hits over 8 innings. He walked 2 and struck out 6.
"Peter was throwing strikes, locating well," said Sunset District manager Brady Bess.
The 5th-place Fog now have a win-loss record of 14-14.
