The exploits of right fielder Ken Trowsdale helped the Kansas Rainbeaus defeat the Sacramento Redlegs, 4-2. Trowsdale went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Reliever Mario Noceda picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Javier Dávila took the loss. Alfredo Ramos got the save, the 4th for him this season.

Trowsdale contributed in the bottom of the fifth. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Kansas get the win.

"We did enough to win," said Trowsdale.

The 'W' lifts Kansas's record to 9-15.
