The Port Huron Blitzkrieg defeated the Sunset District Fog, 5-2, in USSL Triple A action at Fog Park. Port Huron pitcher Todd Montgomery had a standout performance. Montgomery picked up the win for Port Huron, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 1-1. Gil Childers finished the game for Port Huron and earned his 8th save.

Port Huron used the clutch hitting of Kevin Morris to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Blitzkrieg the lead, 3-1. For the game, Morris had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
