Pajaritos Stick Red Pandas with 5-4 Loss
The Norfolk Pajaritos topped the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 5-4, in USSL Triple A action at Norfolk Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Norfolk pitcher Louis Bainbridge. Bainbridge, now 3-0, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 2, walking 4, and allowing no runs. Oliver Quested got the save, the 1st for him this season.

Helping the Norfolk cause was Phil Parks. In the bottom of the fifth, the 24-year old shortstop had a run-scoring sacrifice fly to make the score 5-0, Pajaritos.

"Winning is the only objective," said Bainbridge after the game.

Norfolk is now 10-11.
