Sioux Falls Wins, Tsui slugs 2 home runs
|
Spirited fans greeted the Norfolk Pajaritos for their clash with the Sioux Falls Red Pandas.
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas beat the Norfolk Pajaritos, 7-2, at Norfolk Field. Wang Tsui, in particular, was impressive. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Ronald McDonald picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-1. He struck out 7 in 6.2 innings.
With Sioux Falls leading 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Tsui hit a fastball from Francis O'Farrell for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Red Pandas ahead, 3-0.
"I like our moxie," said Red Pandas manager Fred Leos.
Norfolk falls to 9-11.
