The Monongahela Monsters had to overcome a good performance from Sacramento pitcher Javier Dávila to claim a 3-2 win at Sacramento Sanitation Station. Dávila went 8 innings and allowed 1 run. The winner was Monongahela reliever Jayden Mcquade, now 1-1. The loser was Ari Schaller. The Monsters have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 6th win in 19 games.
