Cliff Scarlett pitched well, but the Tortolita Drummers still lost the game, falling 4-2 to the Sacramento Redlegs at Drummers Ballpark. Sacramento starter Javier Dávila was credited with the win after throwing 105 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 2-1. The save went to Ari Schaller, number 3 for him.

Sacramento used a well-timed hit by Carlos García to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Redlegs ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

Tortolita manager Marcos Costa said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.

The loss drops Tortolita to 6-5.
