Kauno Sihvonen did a number on the Reserves in the Syracuse 8-5 victory today, and the number was 5. The Starks shortstop banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Stark Stadium to lead his club past the Athletic Club KC Reserves.

"I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done."

Kauno Sihvonen singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

Currently Sihvonen has no home runs and a .213 batting average.
