Dogfish Head Tag Reserves with 3-1 Loss
|
In a tight affair between the Milton Dogfish Head and the Athletic Club KC Reserves, pitcher Joe Hunt was in the zone. The Milton left-hander helped his team win the game, 3-1. Hunt picked up the win for Milton, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 3-6. Athletic Club KC has now lost 4 straight.
Milton needed the clutch hitting of Orlando Sáenz to notch the win. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Dogfish Head on top, 3-1. For the game, Sáenz had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"This kind of win will certainly make our fans happy," Sáenz told the Milton News.
