Athletic Club KC Topples Milton, 7-6
Sherwin Tacod helped his team muscle past the Milton Dogfish Head, 7-6. In the game, the Athletic Club KC first baseman went 2-4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Ken Hayes snagged the win in relief. In 2.1 innings, the right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit. He's now 1-1 on the season. Earning his 16th save of the year was Sidd Finch.

Tacod contributed a big hit, a bases-clearing double, for Athletic Club KC in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 6-4, Tacod took a splitter from Bruce Wilson and stroked the double to right-center. His 6th double of the season allowed the Reserves to leap in front, 7-6.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Tacod, "but we got it done."

The 6th-place Reserves are 34-40.
