Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Salt Lake City Buzz and Austin Black Mambas.
Austin wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Jason O'Rourke, falling to the Salt Lake City Buzz, 3-2. O'Rourke threw 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Shinsui Kawaguchi closed the game out for Salt Lake City, earning his 7th save.
Nherbert Imperial was a prime contributor to the Salt Lake City win. He was 2 for 4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the sixth with one out, the 30-year old catcher hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 3-1, in favor of the Buzz.
"It was a good effort all around," said Imperial.
Salt Lake City is 9th in the Menard's AAA with a record of 44-58.
